Split-screen co-op on a Friday night with my mates, four of us round a tiny TV in someone's student house (the one with the broken sofa that you sank into, you had to be pulled out of it) and we played Legendary with skulls on until the sun came up. I went back to it recently on PC, on my own this time, and it's funny how much of it I remembered by muscle memory, which grenade to throw where, when to get in the Warthog. It's not the same without three people yelling at you though. One of those friends lives in Canada now and we still message each other a screenshot of the Sierra 117 intro every
