Still the blueprint. The gravity gun teaches physics better than any modern tutorial pop-up; you learn it by throwing a paint can at a soldier. The pacing between set pieces holds up well, though the vehicle sections go on longer than I remembered.

Spoilers for the whole story, ending included. The tuberculosis diagnosis is where it became something else for me. Before it, Arthur is Dutch's loyal enforcer and not much more. After it, every chapter is about what he does with the time he has left, and the people you helped (or didn't) suddenly matter. Micah being the rat was obvious in hindsight. Watching Dutch choose him over Arthur on the mountain still hurt. I was on the high honour path and went back to help John get away, and that sunrise stayed with me for days. Then the epilogue. I know people love it and it ties neatly into the first game, but spending hours building a ranch straight after that ending felt like whiplash; I'd have cut it in half.
